I beg most respectfully to inform you that I am suffering from diarrhoea and so am unable to attend the school. My consulting physician is of opinion that though the disease is not very acute, still it will take me six days recover fully. He has advised me to take rest, J, therefore, request you grant me leave from the 15th to the 21st October, both days inclusive.

The medical certificate is enclosed herewith.
