The driver of a sports utility vehicle was killed Friday night after crashing on Interstate 244 in Tulsa.
Around 11:25 p.m., the driver, whose name was withheld by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol pending notification of next of kin, was driving a 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer eastbound on the interstate and attempted to exit at Delaware Avenue, according to the OHP.
The vehicle ran off the right side of the road, the driver overcorrected, and the vehicle overturned one and a half times, coming to rest on its top and ejecting the driver, troopers said.
The driver was not wearing a seat belt, according to the OHP.
