Inter board announces supplementary results Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK)

The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) announced three supplementary results on Tuesday.At least 428 male candidates registered for the supple exams-2011 of the Science General Group of which 413 students appeared and 192 candidates were declared passed. The overall pass percentage was 46.49.

Meanwhile, 328 female students registered and 323 candidates appeared in the supple exams whereas 123 students passed their exams. The overall pass percentage was 38.08.

Controller of Examinations, BIEK, Muhammad Imran Khan Chishti said that 466 male candidates registered for the Humanities Group supple exams-2011 and 444 students appeared in the exams of which 197 candidates were declared passed. The overall pass percentage was 44.37.
Moreover, 2, 618 female students registered and 2, 526 candidates appeared in the same exams of which 993 students cleared the exams. The overall pass percentage was 39.31. At least two unfair means (UFM) cases were also reported during and after the examinations, Chishti said.

Furthermore, 5, 876 male candidates registered and 5, 762 students appeared in the Science Pre-Engineering Group supple exams-2011. As per the gazette 3, 037 candidates were declared passed. The overall pass percentage was 52.71.

Meanwhile, 1, 863 female students registered and 1, 827 candidates appeared in the supple exams of which 733 students were declared passed. The overall pass percentage was 40.12.The controller of examinations, BIEK said that six UFM cases were reported during and after the supple exams of the Pre-Engineering Group.
