RATE OF REACTION:

The amount of reactants converted into products in given time is called rate of the chemical reaction.

MATHEMATICAL FORM:

Rate of reaction = Decrease in the concentration of reactants/given time

OR

Increase in the concentration of products/given time

UNIT:

The unit of rate of reaction is Mol/dm³ / sec or Moldm-³sec-1

 

VELOCITY OF REACTION:
